It gives me great pride and honor to chair the 9th JEF, the leading event of this type in the Middle East region.The Jeddah Economic Forum began 8 years ago with a view to establishing an event that would play the role of the Think Tank of the Middle East. Every year, the forum attracts an elite group of speakers from diversified backgrounds representing more than 160 countries.


The 2008 JEF will focus on the theme of Value Creation through Alliances and Partnerships. The program will include keynote speeches by a select number of world leaders, followed by discussion and debate with key players in the economies of the world. The program and format of JEF encourages interaction by the delegates in the audience, and we are strong believers that this input crowns the event.
