Khalid Alyahya Khalid Alyahya is Co-Founder and President of Middle East and AsiaCapital Partners (MAP Capital), a Bahrain-based firm that manages infrastructure private equity investment funds. MAP''s Clean Energy Fund L.Pis Asia's largest announced private equity fund investing in renewable energy. Untill May, 2007, Mr. Alyahya was President of Saudi Railways Organization (SRO) and the Chairman of the Inter-Ministerial Committee for the Expansion of Rialways. Mr. Alyahya was instrumental in articulating and implementing the privatization and the expansion of railway sector in SaudiArabia. Prior to joining SRO, Mr. Alyahya was with the World Bank Group in Washington, DC, where he held the position of Executive Director and represented Saudi Arabia as Board Member of the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Mr. Alyahya holds an M.S degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. |
